  Brokers and MGA's use portals to collect submission data online. Much like carrier portals, the Appulate's Submission Management Portal™ is custom branded to you and provides a collaborative experience for your agents to interact with you in the submission process.

  • Appulate's Submission Prequalification Engine™

    Put your "Appetite Guide" online – a dynamic questionnaire for your agents that pre-screens submissions based on your "appetite". We provide you with a "question-tree" like interface that initially is focused on higher level questions and then drills down more specifically. The result will produce submissions that are qualified and complete; reducing time for your underwriters.

  • Data Collection

    Appulate's "claim to fame" is the ability to produce a single master questionnaire for your specific program type / line of business. This provides a collection point for all ACORD / supplemental forms data – reducing redundant data entry. Out of this data, the specific ACORD and carrier forms can then be populated and electronically signed. Within the portal, you also can provide an easy way to attach loss runs and other submission required data.

  • Electronic Signature

    Within our interface, ACORD, Supplemental forms and even loss run requests can be signed electronically. Imagine being able to get the insured to quickly endorse the application without the need for faxing documents back and forth. With Appulate's E-Signature, the agent can even send forms directly to the insured's mobile device for signature. Electronic signatures are legally binding and have been used in commercial applications for more than a decade.

  • Connectivity from your Agents

    Appulate Uplink™ provides connectivity for your retail agents. This "print driver" technology is the most effective way to bridge data from the retail agent's management system to you. It's simple to use and free to agents! Uplink™ installs just like any other printer — the retail agent simply "prints" the ACORD forms from their agency management system and selects the Appulate Uplink™ printer — that's all! The information flows seamlessly to you.

  This interface gives you full visibility of all your incoming submissions. The Submission Tracker also allows you to manage your retail agents' accounts, required data rules, and provides easy document management as well.

• Submission Staging

  Your current Agency Management System was not designed to be a staging area for your submissions. With Appulate, you can collect and store all relevant submission data and related documents. All information is available in a structured data format that can be uploaded directly to your Agency Management System, underwriting / rating spreadsheets or into the websites of the markets you work with.

• Management System Integration

  Appulate has created bridges so that you can push submission data directly into your current management system. This process will reduce data entry time and more rapidly get the necessary data into your systems.

  We further enhance the value of our platform by providing you rating capabilities within Appulate. As more carriers make their rates available online, you can integrate this within your submission workflow.

• Mapping to Carrier Websites

  Appulate's innovative, Weblink™ means you will never have to fill out carrier websites again. This mapping technology uses data directly from the questionnaires / ACORD forms your receive to complete the fields of your carrier websites.

• Back Office Processing / OCR

  This technology can "parse" forms you receive via email / fax from your agents and convert them to a structured data format. This data can then be pushed into your systems. Appulate can read and convert data from more than 70 different agency management systems and can also customize a solution to read any specific carrier / program forms you receive as well.
